Eligibility/Qualification
- Ph.D. in neuroscience, molecular biology, genetics, developmental biology, or a related field by the start date (July 1, 2026).
- Evidence of independent scientific thinking and critical analysis.
- Strong publication record, including at least one first-author research paper.
- Ability to design experiments and interpret complex datasets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Description
The successful candidate will:
- Design and lead an independent research project focused on molecular mechanisms of neural circuit assembly and synaptic specificity.
- Develop experimental strategies combining genetics, molecular biology, imaging, and quantitative analysis.
- Collaborate with lab members and external collaborators, contributing to the lab’s intellectual environment.
- Mentor undergraduate and graduate trainees.
- Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications and present at seminars and conferences.
