Research Area:

Eligibility/Qualification:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Physics, Material Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Basic understanding of semiconductor electronic properties.
- Familiarity with optical characterization tools for semiconductors and electronic devices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Labview, MATLAB programming skills.
- Hands-on experience with glovebox and vacuum chamber operations for film growth.
- Experience in growing materials using solution methods.
- Proficient in laser alignment and optical characterizations.
Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Associate will support the research program led by Prof. Nie (PI) in the following areas:
- Assemble and characterize opto-electronic devices with low-dimensional hybrid single crystals.
- Build interfaces with organic and 2D materials to investigate charge transfer dynamics.
- Test photon sensing efficiencies under various radiation conditions and polarized light.
- Collaborate with the PI in proposal writing and supervising junior graduate students.
