Postdoctoral Associate at University of Colorado: The Satellite Navigation and Sensing (SeNSe) Laboratory at the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to collaborate with a team of researchers in diverse engineering and science backgrounds. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation global navigation satellite systems and radio-based sensor technologies for navigation and remote sensing applications.

Research Area: Atmospheric and Ionospheric Properties Study

Location: Boulder, Colorado

Eligibility/Qualification: A completed PhD in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, space science, physics, or a related field prior to the position start date. Knowledge of radios, space physics, machine learning, coding in Matlab and/or Python, and good communication skills are required. Background in radio wave propagation, atmospheric effects, experience in signal processing, and data analysis are desired.

Job Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and improving algorithms and software to infer scientific information on the atmospheric and ionospheric properties to enable studies of the environment and climate change. This role will involve collaboration with a group of research associates, postdocs, and PhD students within the SeNSe Laboratory and the Aerospace Engineering Sciences Department, contributing to the broader space science and remote sensing research and education community in Boulder, Colorado. The candidate will work on the development of next-generation global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) receiver and other radio-based sensor technologies to provide robust navigation and remote sensing capabilities.
