This full-time, 12-month fixed-term position, with the possibility of extension, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to world-leading research on the immunomodulatory function of mesenchymal stem cells in response to extracellular matrix proteins.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD (or near completion) in cell biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or a related area
- Strong track record of publishing research in high-impact journals
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques, including mammalian cell culture, isolation, and characterization of immune cells, T cell activation, quantitative RT-PCR, Western blotting, ELISA, fluorescence and confocal imaging, flow cytometry
- Proficiency or willingness to learn immunohistochemistry, transcriptomic and proteomic analyses, including single-cell techniques
- Ability to drive and conduct research/scholarly activities independently
- Strong collaboration skills and a willingness to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in, or willingness to train research students
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Job Description: As a Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will undertake research on stem cell and extracellular matrix protein interactions, with a focus on immune cell regulation. Responsibilities include driving original research, contributing to papers and conference presentations, participating in project meetings, and supporting the training and supervision of students. Additionally, you will assist in general laboratory operations, including managing inventories and addressing WHS requirements.
