– Experience with UV-vis or FTIR spectroscopy
– Strong track record in scientific productivity and publications
– Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications– Exposure to kinetic modeling of chemical reactions
– Diffuse Reflectance Infrared Spectroscopy (DRIFTS)
– Catalyst synthesis experience

Job Description:

The postdoctoral associate will take on the following responsibilities:

  • Synthesize photoactive materials and couple them with active centers.
  • Conduct characterization using UV-vis spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, etc.
  • Study synthesized catalysts for mechanistic aspects in photocatalytic reactors.
  • Combine kinetic models with spectroscopy for structure-property correlations.
  • Contribute to the dissemination of scientific findings via publications, presentations, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
