Research Area

Eligibility / Qualification

  • A doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in an appropriate scientific discipline is required.
  • A degree/background in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry is specifically required.
  • Experience with molecular modeling is advantageous.
  • Experience conducting structure–activity relationship (SAR) studies is preferred.
  • Experience with high-throughput synthesis and/or solid-phase synthesis is desirable.
  • Candidates should have strong laboratory, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Job Description

The Postdoctoral Associate will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and will:

  • Design and synthesize molecules intended for biological studies.
  • Review scientific literature and optimize experimental protocols.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments and analyze experimental results.
  • Operate and interpret data from NMR, HPLC, and LC-MS instrumentation.
  • Work collaboratively within research and project teams.
  • Help identify solutions to challenges associated with existing lead molecules.
  • Present research findings during laboratory and project-team meetings, seminars, conferences, and symposia.
  • Contribute to scientific publications and grant proposals.
  • Use relevant computational and visualization tools, including ChemDraw and PyMOL Viewer, along with standard Microsoft Office applications.
