Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in biomedical sciences, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
- Strong skills in cell and tissue engineering.
- Training in biomedical engineering, biomaterials, bioprinting, immunoengineering, and cell biology.
- Preferred experience in microfabrication, 3D printing/bioprinting, biomaterials fabrication, and host-microbiome interactions.
- At least one first-author publication in a peer-reviewed journal related to bioprinting.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Job Description:
Join the Jalili and Robson Labs at JAX to engage in independent and collaborative research projects focused on 3D bioprinting. Utilize state-of-the-art facilities to create advanced functional organ-level tissues, combining bioprinting with organ-on-chip platforms. Collaborate with experts in bioengineering, biology, immunology, microbiology, and clinical research. Spearhead projects that incorporate bioprinting, microfabrication, organ-on-chip development, organoid culture, microbiome sequencing, and single-cell transcriptomics.
