Eligibility/Qualification
- Ph.D. or other doctoral degree in Biochemistry, Biosciences, Bioengineering, Neuroscience, or related disciplines.
- Strong knowledge and experience in molecular biology techniques, including DNA cloning, PCR, and site-directed mutagenesis.
- Familiarity with next-generation sequencing is preferred.
- Experience with adeno-associated virus (AAV) packaging and histological imaging is a plus.
Job Description
As a Postdoctoral Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing new engineered molecules to support research initiatives.
- Packaging adeno-associated viruses (AAVs) and overseeing related contract management.
- Extracting and analyzing nucleic acids from tissues and quantifying histological and imaging data.
- Conducting imaging of histological sections and contributing to research documentation through detailed reports, presentations, and publications.
- Collaborating in multidisciplinary environments while exhibiting strong analytical and communication skills.
This is a four-year, term-limited position funded by a recent grant. Continued employment is contingent on performance and renewal of funding.
