Yale School of Medicine, Center of Molecular and Cellular Oncology, New Haven, CT, USA, with opportunities for collaboration with the University of Cambridge, UK.
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD or MD-PhD in molecular biology, genetics, biomedicine, bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of research productivity, demonstrated by first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals or preprints.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing, executing, and interpreting experiments and analyses.
- Supervising and training students and staff members.
- Participating in group meetings, journal clubs, and CMCO seminars.
- Preparing manuscripts and contributing to grant proposals.
- Presenting work at internal and external scientific meetings.
- Assisting with lab organization and shared tasks.
- Establishing new local and international collaborations.
Candidates with expertise in cell and molecular biology, cancer biology, and genomics, as well as those experienced in genomic instability, DNA damage/repair, and mutagenesis, are highly desirable. Computational experience is also beneficial but not required.
