Eligibility/Qualification:
- Doctoral degree in life sciences, computer science, or related field.
- Experience in molecular and/or developmental biology, genomics, microscopy, and Drosophila genetics (desirable but not required).
- Proficiency in programming, high-throughput data analysis, or in vivo calcium imaging (especially welcome).
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment.
Job Description: The successful candidates will pursue independent projects focused on investigating gene regulatory networks controlling neuronal cell fate and circuit formation in developing Drosophila brains. Utilizing cutting-edge experimental and computational techniques including single-cell RNA and ATAC sequencing, CRISPR genome editing, deep learning, network modeling, confocal and two-photon live imaging, candidates will contribute to advancing our understanding of brain development.
