Postdoctoral Associate–Computer Science: The Department of Computer Science at the University of South Dakota seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate to contribute to cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
  • Strong mathematical foundation
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Julia, MATLAB, Rust, and/or C++
  • Experience in machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, robotics, or data mining
  • Track record of research excellence with publications in top-tier conferences and journals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to conduct independent research, data management, analysis, and interpretation

Job Description:

  • Provide technical leadership in AI and machine learning
  • Contribute to ongoing research activities
  • Publish work in high-impact scientific conferences and journals
  • Assist in writing research grant proposals
  • Additional duties as assigned
