Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in a relevant field (e.g., computational biology, physics, bioinformatics, neuroscience, AI/ML, or related disciplines).
  • Experience with ML/AI, particularly in computer vision, sound analysis, or behavioral recognition.
  • Proficient with mathematical modeling, including dynamical systems and agent-based models.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.

Job Description

  • Develop ML/AI-based tools for vision, sound, and behavior identification in deep-sea and terrestrial species.
  • Construct mathematical models of rhythm formation and synchronization in biological systems.
  • Conduct high-level analysis of experimental data and model outputs to extract meaningful trends and refine hypotheses.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of ecologists, marine biologists, and computational scientists.
