Eligibility/Qualification

  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g., Sc.D., M.D., D.V.M.) in Chemistry, Radiochemistry, Chemical Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Candidates with non-US degrees may need to provide proof of degree equivalency.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in organic synthesis of radiohalogenation precursors
  • Experience in handling radioactivity
  • Experience in performing radiochemical synthesis with iodine radionuclides and astatine-211

Job Description

  • Lead independent & collaborative research aligned with the goals of Dr. Micheal Zalutsky’s laboratory.
  • Contribute to the design and synthesis of site-specifically radiohalogenated biomolecules.
  • Engage in translational research bridging fundamental chemistry and clinical applications.
  • Comply with responsible conduct in research and maintain laboratory notebooks.
  • Discuss research activities openly with the mentor and maintain collegial conduct.
