Eligibility/Qualification:
- Doctoral Degree in Biochemistry or closely related field by August 15th, 2023
- Proficiency in experimental design, mammalian cell culture, drug treatment, western blotting, data analysis, and result reporting
Job Description: The Postdoctoral Associate will:
- Collaborate with Principal Investigator Dr. Wei Yang on cancer metastasis research
- Utilize state-of-the-art proteomics techniques to explore RIPK2’s roles and mechanisms in prostate cancer metastasis
- Perform discovery proteomics, phosphoproteomics, and palmitoyl-proteomics experiments
- Conduct targeted proteomics for quantification of RIPK2 pathway signature proteins
- Analyze data, contribute to manuscript writing, and potentially assist in grant writing
- Maintain lab equipment, order supplies, and assist in lab management
- Attend scientific conferences and meetings as needed
