Eligibility/Qualification

  • Required Qualifications:
  • PhD in cell/molecular biology or vascular physiology (must be awarded no more than four years prior to the effective date of appointment with a minimum of one year eligibility remaining).
  • Experience in preparation of proposals, reports, and publications; presentation of research results.
  • Demonstrated experience in cell biology or vascular biology.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Record of research excellence demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications and invited talks.
  • Experience in interdisciplinary collaborative teams.
  • Experience in the development of patents.

Job Description

The Postdoctoral Associate will have responsibilities including:

  • Research conceptualization: Coordinate the design and methodology of experiments.
  • Data analysis: Analyze and prepare research data for presentation.
  • Publication: Prepare data for peer-reviewed publication and conference attendance.
  • Project management: Train and supervise research personnel, assist in grant writing.
