Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. degree in biology, molecular biology, microbiology, or a related field
  • PhD awarded no more than four years prior to the effective date of appointment with a minimum of one year eligibility remaining

Job Description:
The successful candidate will engage in research focusing on understanding how Aspergillus fumigatus causes infection and responds to antifungals. The role involves using genetics, cell biology, microscopy, proteomics, immunological, and in vivo approaches to gain insights into the mechanisms underlying fungal pathogenicity. Specifically, this position will explore the interaction of the septin cytoskeleton with stress signaling pathways and contribute to innovative antifungal intervention development.
