Eligibility/Qualification:
- A PhD (or nearing completion) in computational single-cell genomics or related fields.
- Formal training in cellular and molecular biology or immunology, or equivalent experience.
- Proven record in statistical analysis and interpretation of complex biological datasets.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
- Experience with statistical machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch).
- Familiarity with reproducible scientific workflows (e.g., Git, Docker).
Job Description:
The successful candidate will lead independent research projects and collaborate closely with approximately 10 team members in the Simon Group to conduct the following:
- Analyze and interpret single-cell datasets to identify cellular populations and metabolic signaling networks in disease contexts.
- Perform pattern analysis of biological systems using AI and develop mathematical models.
- Engage in dynamic simulations and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team environment.
