Job Description:
- Contribute to an NIAID-funded project exploring the role of the fungal septin cytoskeleton in the response to anti-cell wall drugs
- Investigate the interaction of the septin cytoskeleton with other stress signaling pathways
- Utilize genetics, cell biology, microscopy, proteomics, immunological, and in vivo approaches to understand the mechanisms underlying Aspergillus fumigatus infection and response to antifungals
- Collaborate with the Vargas-Muñiz Lab team to advance the project’s goals
