Postdoctoral Associate in Genome Stability: An exciting opportunity is available for a postdoctoral research associate to join Prof. Ivan Ahel’s group at the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology, University of Oxford. The position focuses on the interplay between ADP-ribosylation and ubiquitination signaling in DNA damage and immunity responses.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Biology or a related subject (or close to completion)
  • High level of competence in biochemistry and structural biology
  • Proven experience demonstrated by first author publications in high-profile journals

Job Description:

  • Manage own academic research with limited supervision
  • Adapt existing and develop new scientific techniques and experimental protocols
  • Design and accurately execute experiments to achieve project goals
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within the team
