Job Description
As a Postdoctoral Associate, you will conduct research and development in areas including AI/machine learning, clinical decision support, software development, and operations research. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting independent and collaborative research following institutional policies.
- Designing, organizing, and carrying out studies, including developing new methodologies.
- Collecting, preparing, and analyzing research data; maintaining databases and documentation.
- Tabulating data for presentations and utilizing statistical software.
- Preparing articles for publication and presenting findings at conferences.
- Assisting with grant and fellowship applications.
- Providing training and supervision to interns, students, and other research personnel.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Degree: Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent in Biomedical Informatics, Computer Science, Health Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience: A record of significant research accomplishments and publications in top-tier journals/conferences. Strong working experience with EHR and insurance claims data.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in programming with Python, R, and JavaScript.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience developing clinical decision support tools in real-world settings; familiarity with AI/machine learning methods; ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
- Requirements: Two letters of recommendation are required.
