Eligibility/Qualification:
Applicants must hold a PhD in Organic Chemistry or a relevant subject area, or be close to completion prior to taking up the appointment. Expertise in the design and execution of synthetic schemes and a strong appreciation of mechanism and the use of spectroscopy in organic chemistry are required. Applicants will be expected to manage their own academic research and administrative activities.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their academic research and administrative activities, involving small-scale project management to coordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines. The role will be based in the Chemistry Research Laboratory, Department of Chemistry, University of Oxford, and is available from 1st January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.
