Postdoctoral Associate in Organic Semiconductors: The Department of Chemistry at the University of Oxford invites applications for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate in Organic Semiconductors. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professor Iain McCulloch for a duration of up to 24 months, contributing to the design and synthesis of novel organic semiconducting polymers and small molecules for applications such as organic bio-electronics, photocatalysis, and solar cells.

Eligibility/Qualification:
Applicants must hold a PhD in Chemistry or Materials Science, or be in the final stages of completion. The role requires experience and understanding of the design, synthesis, and characterization of organic semiconducting materials, with expertise in organic bioelectronics, organic solar cells, or solar fuels. The ability to manage academic research and administrative activities, including project coordination and collaboration, is essential.

Job Description:
The position entails active participation in an interdisciplinary team focusing on the design and synthesis of organic semiconductors for diverse applications. This encompasses thin film fabrication, performance measurement, and establishing design strategies tailored for specific applications. The successful candidate will investigate the relationships between the chemical structure and properties of the materials, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in this field.
