Eligibility/Qualification
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
- Doctoral-level research experience in quantum information with a PhD or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of techniques and tools in the area of quantum networking and continuous variable quantum information.
- Understanding of network routing methods.
- Experience in writing research work for publication.
- Highly developed communication skills for effective engagement with a diverse audience.
Job Description
The post is specifically focused on the following duties:
- Conducting research in quantum networking for the IQN Hub and contributing to research publications.
- Identifying and developing research proposals for collaborative projects and independent research.
- Interacting with research and industrial partners within the IQN Hub.
- Conducting individual and collaborative research projects, including data analysis, research methodology application, and result dissemination.
- Preparing research proposals for funding applications.
- Organizing various administrative activities related to the research project.
- Fostering collaborative working both internally and externally, including building contacts and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
- Guiding other staff and students, and coordinating small research teams’ work.
