Postdoctoral Associate- Mukherjee Lab: The Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC is seeking a highly motivated and creative Postdoctoral Associate to join the Mukherjee Lab. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing general laboratory operations, collecting data for research projects, and uncovering molecular mechanisms of pediatric optic nerve pathologies.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. or MD/PhD degree in life sciences awarded no more than four years prior to the effective date of appointment with a minimum of one year eligibility remaining.
- Strong publication record.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and team skills.
- Experience in cell biology, biochemistry, and/or molecular biology, and working with animal models.

Job Description: The Postdoctoral Associate will be responsible for conducting research to uncover molecular mechanisms of pediatric optic nerve pathologies. The successful candidate will have experience in cell biology, biochemistry, and/or molecular biology, and working with animal models. The Postdoctoral Associate will work closely with the Mukherjee Lab and complete general laboratory operations, collect data for research projects, and write manuscripts for publication.
