Postdoctoral Associate Position: The Shields Lab in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to design drug-loaded nanoparticles targeting immune cells for penetrating inflamed joints and reversing osteoarthritis. This position is part of a team effort led by Prof. Stephanie J. Bryant, fostering collaboration with engineers, biologists, clinicians, and veterinarians.

Eligibility/Qualification:
Competitive applicants should possess:
- Ph.D. degree in chemical and biological engineering, materials science, chemistry, immunology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related discipline.
- Expertise in immunoengineering, nanomedicine, cell-based therapies, cancer research, and biomaterials.
- Experience in mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, PCR, ELISA, tumor inoculation, tail vein injection, and blood draws. Familiarity with nanoparticle synthesis is a strength.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, with strong communication skills.
- Track record of publication in high-impact journals.

Salary:
The salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000 annually, commensurate with prior postdoctoral or related experience.
