- Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, or related field of study.
- Strong training background in molecular biology, cell biology, next-generation sequencing technology.
- Experience in computational biology, genetic screens, and single-cell technologies are particularly preferred.
- Candidates should have at least one 1st author publication record in a peer-reviewed journal.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, able to work independently and effectively with other members in a productive team.
- Job Description: The postdoctoral associate will lead an exciting project that applies a broad range of cutting-edge technologies, such as CRISPR-based tools, single-cell multi-omics, and kidney disease mouse models. The ideal candidate should have a strong molecular biology, mass spectrometry, and genomic technologies background. The role involves interaction with members of the JAX Center for Aging Research, largely funded by the NIH’s NIA grants.
