Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. degree in a scientific discipline or MD degree
- Up to five years of experience working in a scientific laboratory
- Experience with genomics methods (RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, single cell/spatial transcriptomics)
- Experience with biochemical methods (subcellular fractionation, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Previous experience with molecular techniques
Job Description:
- Independent research projects related to transcriptional/chromatin regulation of neural development and plasticity
- Research and development collaboration with others for projects
- Detailed observations, data analysis, and interpretation of results
- Technical discretion in the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments
- Preparation of technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses
- Maintenance of familiarity with current scientific literature
- Investigation, creation, and development of new methods and technologies for project advancement
- Participation in scientific conferences and contribution to scientific journals
- Supervision of laboratory staff activities
- Contribution to project process within the scientific discipline
