Postdoctoral Associate- Virginia Institute: The Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS), William & Mary, invites applications for the RAISE Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. This program aims to cultivate the next generation of academic faculty with a focus on diversity and inclusion in marine science.

Eligibility/Qualification: Applicants must have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment, with no more than 4 years since conferral. A background in marine science is not mandatory; candidates from diverse fields with transferable research experience are encouraged to apply.

Job Description: The selected Postdoctoral Research Associates will undergo training in research, teaching, and governance competencies essential for tenure-track academic positions. Emphasis is on building capacity in academia and fostering diversity in marine science. Fellows will work on mutual research interests with a VIMS faculty mentor, engage in professional development, and contribute to the academic community.
