Description
The successful candidate will work within the Masson and Muqit Groups to perform structural mass spectrometry for drug discovery. Responsibilities will include:
- Determining binding sites of small molecules on proteins using native mass spectrometry and HDX-MS.
- Developing novel methods for drug discovery via structural mass spectrometry.
- Maintaining instrumentation and benchmarking data.
- Disseminating findings through publications and advising students.
Qualifications:
- A competitive PhD with a strong academic and publication record.
- Experience in structural mass spectrometry methods, especially with Waters mass spectrometry instruments.
- Familiarity with assessing drug binding using structural mass spectrometry techniques is desirable.
- Background in peptide chemistry is a plus.
