Postdoctoral Fellow (C-REX): The Center for Research on Extremism (C-REX) at the University of Oslo’s Department of Political Science invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position specializing in extremism and related topics (e.g., Islamophobia, Anti-Semitism, and Racism). The successful candidate will join C-REX, a Research Council of Norway-funded center, for a fixed 2-year period with no teaching requirements. Job Description:

Postdoctoral Fellow at Center for Research on Extremism (C-REX)

The Postdoctoral Fellow will contribute to C-REX’s research agenda, emphasizing underexplored aspects of extreme actors and ideas in Norway. The research should align with C-REX’s key themes, exploring ideology and identity, violence and hate crime, movements and parties, the role of gender, and prevention and intervention. Comparative projects are encouraged, but a substantial portion must focus on political extremism in Norway.
