Postdoctoral Fellow- Colorectal Cancer Lab: Join the cutting-edge research network MACH3CANCER, hosted at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona), a Severo Ochoa Centre of Excellence. We seek a motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to contribute to the exploration of tumor cell plasticity and drug resistance using high-throughput 3D live imaging technology. The project, funded by CRUK-AECC, involves the development of advanced microscopy tools for organoid research within an international consortium.

Postdoctoral Fellow for the Colorectal Cancer Lab (ref. PD/24/03)

Designation: Postdoctoral Researcher

Research Area: Advanced microscopy applied to research with organoids, focusing on tumor cell plasticity and drug resistance.

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in the area of microscopy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills for experimental bench-work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Job Description:

  • Conduct independent research using advanced microscopy tools for organoid research.
  • Standardize advanced microscopy workflows for organoid screening across European facilities.
  • Develop and/or use complex bioimage analysis assays for single-cell analysis in high-content live large 3D image datasets.
