Postdoctoral Fellow – Harvey Lab: The Department of Chemistry at Indiana University is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to join the Harvey Lab. This is a unique opportunity to work on the synthesis and spectroscopy of colloidal inorganic nanomaterials in a highly collegial environment with advanced research facilities.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, or Physics by or before January 2026.
- Expertise in wet-chemical inorganic nanocrystal synthesis and/or optical/magneto-optical spectroscopy of materials.
- Previous experience with inorganic materials through synthesis or spectroscopy is required.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing individual academic research project(s).
- Maintaining detailed records of experiments and data.
- Writing results for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Developing new research directions within the Harvey Lab.
- Achieving research objectives through the development of new syntheses, characterization of novel materials, or setting up spectroscopic techniques.
- Assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of instrumentation/equipment.
- Mentoring undergraduate and graduate students and teaching new skills.
