Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. or equivalent in Natural Language Processing, Computational Linguistics, Information Retrieval, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, and NLP techniques, particularly generative language models.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with NLP frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

Description: The AI & Data Science Fellowship Program, a collaboration between the University of Tübingen and Boehringer Ingelheim, seeks a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to revolutionize clinical trial design using AI and data science methodologies. Led by the UT Health NLP Lab and collaborating with Boehringer Ingelheim’s Global Clinical Development & Operations, this project aims to enhance trial design and recruitment processes through advanced AI techniques.
The successful candidate will contribute to training and fine-tuning foundation models for trial design, reducing model hallucinations, and providing additional context via multi-modal grounding. This research will not only advance scientific understanding but also have significant practical implications in life sciences.
