Job Description:
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting proteomic and glycoproteomic analysis of Helicobacter pylori, with a particular focus on an ancient ecospecies recently identified in regions of high gastric cancer risk. Key responsibilities include mass spectrometry data analysis, comparative proteomics, and collaboration with national and international experts in the field. The position offers opportunities for professional growth, including participation in conferences, workshops, and potential exchange programs.
Duties:
- Perform proteomic and glycoproteomic characterization of H. pylori.
- Analyze mass spectrometry data and conduct comparative proteomics.
- Collaborate with the Proteomics Core Facility and other experts.
- Investigate outer membrane proteins involved in host-microbe interaction.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Strong motivation and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in proteomics/mass spectrometry data analysis.
- Background in experimental and/or advanced data analysis within life science.
- Proficiency in English communication.
Meritorious:
- Experience in comparative genomics or proteomics.
- Ability to represent the research group at national and international events.
- Pedagogical knowledge and interest in supervision.
Employment:
