Postdoctoral Fellow in Biochemistry: The Haucke lab (www.leibniz-fmp.de/haucke) is actively seeking a postdoctoral fellow in biochemistry and/or structural biology to contribute to the analysis of molecular architecture and function of protein complexes regulating membrane and organelle dynamics in health and disease. The focus lies on the endolysosomal system, employing a multidisciplinary approach combining biochemical, structural biological, genetic, and cell biological methods.

Eligibility/Qualification: We are looking for highly motivated, ambitious, and talented scientists with a Ph.D. in a relevant area (e.g., biochemistry, structural biology, biophysics). Successful applicants should demonstrate a strong track record in biochemistry or structural biology, with a focus on protein purification, structural studies, and/or proteomics. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential, and knowledge of the German language is not required.
Job Description: The postdoc will work on ongoing projects supported by third-party grants, including those from the European Research Council (ERC) and the German National Funding Agency (DFG). The tasks involve in-depth research using biochemical, structural, and genetic methodologies to unravel the complexities of the endolysosomal system. Collaboration with an enthusiastic and collaborative team within a world-class scientific environment is expected.
