Position Summary | The Biology Department at Bowdoin College invites applications for a full-time, benefits-eligible postdoctoral fellow position for the 2024-2025 academic year. The appointment begins July 1, 2024, and is a one-year position with the possibility of a second year pending curricular need, review, and reappointment. The teaching load is three courses per year. Courses to be taught include Biology of Marine Organisms fall semester and two other courses spring semester. A Ph.D. in biology or a related field is expected by the date of appointment. Especially welcomes candidates incorporating genomic and/or biomechanical approaches into their studies of marine organisms. |

Job Description: The postdoc will teach three courses per year, including Biology of Marine Organisms. Utilizes outstanding facilities for marine organism study, including a pier, research vessels, flowing seawater lab, and a dry lab.
