Job Description

The successful candidate will work within a research group focused on causal inference and survival analysis, led by Professor Jon Michael Gran. Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting research on causal inference for treatment effect estimation in complex longitudinal and time-to-event settings.
  • Studying topics such as multi-state modeling of event history data and machine learning methods for causal inference.
  • Applying developed methods to subject matter research questions, particularly concerning interventions that facilitate inclusive working life and medical treatments for patients post-trauma.
  • Handling large datasets collected from various population-wide registries, including study design, statistical method development and implementation, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and communicating research findings.
