Neuro-Immune Interactions & Tumor Microenvironment in Immuno-Oncology

  • Neuro-Immunology / Immuno-OncologyFocus: Investigating the innervation landscape of peripheral tumors and understanding how intra-tumoral neurons regulate tumor immunity and progression.

Eligibility / Qualification

Required:

  • Ph.D. in immunology, oncology, or a related field.
  • Strong interest and background in immunology.
  • Proven expertise in conducting independent in-vivo studies, including managing genetically modified mouse strains.
  • Essential experience with spectral flow cytometry.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Commitment to teamwork, scientific rigor, and collaboration.

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience with cell sorting, preparation of tissues for RNAseq, and confocal microscopy analysis.
  • Experience in cellular and molecular biology techniques.

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Take a lead role in designing and executing research projects investigating the role of neurons in regulating tumor immunity.
  • Research Execution: Perform cell sorting, tissue preparation, molecular profiling, and in-vivo experiments using mouse models.
  • Publication & Dissemination: Author and publish manuscripts as first author in peer-reviewed journals, and present research findings at internal lab meetings and international conferences.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate with neighboring neuroscience, oncology, and immunology labs, participating in a vibrant scientific community.
