Postdoctoral Fellow in Carbon Estimation and Mapping, Utah State University, USA

Postdoctoral Position in USA

Postdoctoral Fellow in Carbon Estimation and Mapping: We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join a multi-institutional project aimed at enhancing our understanding and management of above- and below-ground carbon stocks. This position, funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (USDA-NRCS), will focus on dryland ecosystems in the western U.S. and globally. The research will involve integrating satellite- and drone-based remote sensing data with ground-based carbon measurements and utilizing advanced machine learning techniques to develop predictive spatiotemporal models.
