Job Description
The Postdoctoral Fellow will primarily be engaged in lab-based research focused on yeast evolutionary genomics. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing a research project that investigates:
- Parallel evolution of climate adaptation in yeast from Europe and South America.
- The genetic architecture of thermal traits.
- The evolution of pathogenicity as a by-product of thermotolerance.
- Conducting experimental evolution studies and performing comparative genomics analyses.
- Collaborating with team members and mentoring students, while also being able to work independently.
