Eligibility/Qualification:
- A degree equivalent to a Norwegian doctoral degree in proteomics, immunology, or biochemistry.
- The doctoral dissertation must be submitted for evaluation by the closing date.
- Good understanding of mass spectrometry-based proteomics.
- Experience in human immunology and/or cellular signaling studies.
- Experience with proteomics or omics data analysis, and mammalian cell culture is advantageous.
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will work on the COMBINE project, focusing on characterizing host cell signaling pathways activated by the Marburg virus in various human cell types. The role involves collaboration within a multidisciplinary team across multiple countries, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities for mass spectrometry-based proteomics. Responsibilities include:
- Performing advanced proteomics techniques.
- Analyzing and interpreting complex data.
- Contributing to method development in proteomics.
- Engaging in team discussions and collaborations.
