Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD degree in chemistry, physics, or materials science, preferably related to lithium-sulfur batteries.
  • Excellent knowledge of rechargeable battery electrochemistry and surface analytics.
  • Experience in pouch cell assembly and characterization is advantageous.
  • Strong interest in experimental work and commitment to publishing high-quality research.
  • Curiosity, motivation for scientific knowledge, collaborative mindset, and excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent command of English.

Job Description

  • Conduct fundamental and applied research on lithium-sulfur batteries.
  • Characterize electrodes, electrolytes, additives, separators, and their interfaces.
  • Publish research results in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
  • Present research findings at national and international conferences.
  • Collaborate with EU project partners to enable sensing and healing lithium-sulfur batteries.
  • Present results at project and review meetings, and contribute to report writing.
