Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent.
- PhD should have been obtained within 5 years before the application deadline.
- Strong background in porous carbon materials, electrochemistry, and CO2 catalysis is required.
- Experience with supervising students is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken) are essential.
- Applicants should be team players and have the ability to work in a multidisciplinary group.
Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Fellow will be responsible for:
- Synthesizing and characterizing novel carbonaceous electrochemical catalysts.
- Applying these catalysts in electrochemical CO2 conversion, focusing on CO2 capture and reduction reactions.
- Conducting advanced synthetic strategies and employing characterization methods such as X-ray, neutron diffraction, and electron microscopy.
- Maintaining electrochemical setups for the project.
This scholarship is part of a broader project aimed at developing new materials for sustainable energy solutions.
