Job Description:
The successful candidate will work on two interrelated research projects:
- Density functional theory and multiscale modelling of defects in ferromagnets
- Modelling surface chemistry and defects in quantum devices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality research on the above topics
- Supervise doctoral researchers participating in the Quantum Doctoral Pilot Programme
- Dedicate approximately 5% of work time to teaching
The position is funded for a fixed term of 1.5 years with a start date in Fall 2025.
