Postdoctoral Fellow in Polymeric Nanocomposite Coatings
As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will contribute to and undertake research on the ONI-funded project for Polymeric Nanocomposite Coatings. The role involves working in the School of Chemical Engineering, collaborating with Professor Per Zetterlund and Dr Vipul Agarwal. The project focuses on developing the next generation coatings for defense applications, with a specific emphasis on expertise in inorganic filler synthesis and polymeric nanocomposites, including advanced materials characterization.
Skills & Experience:
- PhD (or soon to be awarded) in polymer nanocomposites/inorganic fillers/materials science or related area.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research with limited supervision.
- Track record of publications and conference presentations relative to opportunity.
- Ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines, and build effective relationships.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with diverse stakeholders and students.
