Eligibility/Qualification
- A PhD degree in a relevant field from Sweden or an equivalent from another country.
- The degree must be completed no later than the employment decision date.
- Advantageous if the degree was completed within three years before the application deadline.
Assessment Criteria
- Synthesis and characterization of porous materials (MOFs, COFs, etc.).
- Knowledge in heterogeneous catalysis.
- Experience in organic, inorganic, and/or materials chemistry.
- Proficiency in English (written and oral).
- Demonstrated capacity for analytical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and independence.
Job Description
The successful candidate will engage in the following main responsibilities:
- Synthesis and characterization of heterogeneous catalysts based on porous materials.
- Study of catalytic activity in organic reactions.
- Perform in-situ and/or operando investigations.
- Compare results with benchmark homogeneous systems.
The position is part of the Wallenberg Initiative Materials Science for Sustainability (WISE) and involves participation in a nationwide program promoting interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers, PhD students, and industry.
