Postdoctoral Fellow in PET-MRI Imaging: Join Dr. Bernard Lanz’s team at the CIBM MRI EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland, for a 2-year Postdoctoral Fellowship focused on the development of quantitative multimodal PET-MRI imaging techniques. Postdoctoral Fellow in Multimodal PET-MRI Imaging

Location: CIBM MRI EPFL, Bâtiment CH F, Lausanne, Switzerland

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD degree in biomedical physics, bioengineering, neuroscience, or similar
  • Strong experimental skills for multimodal in vivo experiments
  • Experience with MRI/MRS/MRSI, preferably in a Bruker scanner environment
  • Proficiency in programming (Matlab, Python)
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Job Description:

  • Develop and optimize simultaneous multimodal 9.4T MRI and FDG-PET measurements
  • Characterize the morphological expansion of implants and their transition to biological tissue
  • Implement cutting-edge measurement approaches, including optimized MR contrast techniques
  • Collaborate with researchers from Volumina Medical and CIBM MRI EPFL on imaging method developments
  • Work closely with specialists and technicians on biomaterial implantation and imaging methods
