Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in plant science or related fields.
- Strong background in molecular biology, plant physiology, and/or genetics.
- Experience in plant-microbe interactions, bioinformatics, or legume genetics is desirable but not required.
- Intellectual curiosity, productivity, drive, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
Job Description:
- Investigate the quantitative and qualitative control of AM symbiosis by host plants.
- Utilize molecular biology, genetics, advanced microscopy, and -omics approaches to identify molecular mechanisms governing plant-microbe interactions.
- Analyze root colonization by AM fungi and uncover novel mechanisms regulating symbiosis.
- Work collaboratively with a diverse team to contribute to groundbreaking research in plant science.
