Postdoctoral Fellow in Precision Genome Editing: The UC Irvine School of Medicine’s Center for Translational Vision Research is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to contribute to groundbreaking research in genome editing for ocular genetic diseases. Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Structural Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field
  • Experience in protein purification and biochemical assays
  • Expertise in structural biology techniques such as X-ray crystallography or cryo-electron microscopy (cryoEM)
  • Proficiency in cell culture and genome editing techniques (e.g., CRISPR-Cas9, base editors, prime editors)
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a research environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
