Eligibility/Qualification:
- A completed Swedish doctoral degree or an equivalent degree from another country, obtained no more than three years before the closing date of the application. Exceptions may apply under special circumstances (e.g., parental leave, sick leave).
- Strong theoretical knowledge in protein biophysics and modern computational methods.
- Proven research skills in affinity methods, cell assays, protein production and purification, and protein design.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage research tasks effectively.
Job Description:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Independently evaluating protein interactions using affinity methods such as Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR).
- Designing laboratory workflows for effective analysis of chemical aspects of proteins and biomolecules.
- Applying machine learning tools for protein design and assessing the feasibility of generated designs.
- Conducting large-scale data analysis.
- Expressing and purifying designed protein products in various cell systems.
This position involves full-time employment for a minimum of two years, with a maximum of three years, and the possibility of extension under special circumstances. The expected start date is March 1, 2025, or as per agreement.
